The Woodlands is the name that the builder, Richcraft, originally gave to this town house complex, but many know it as the Gladeview complex, because of the main road by that name. The other road is Maple Private.
Aptly named because of all the trees in the area, the complex borders the National Capital Commission Greenbelt which is host to a variety of wildlife, nature trails, Conroy Pit dog-walking area and toboggan sliding in the winter.
The complex is composed of freehold town homes, but there is a common area (road mainly) which is owned and maintained by all the owners with monthly condo fees. This is done through a professional management company which takes care of snow removal, grass cutting and road maintenance.
